She is her company’s primary abstractor for Lexington County.  April was introduced to abstracting by her sister, who was a paralegal.  April’s brother-in-law, a well respected real estate attorney in Lexington, has also been a valuable source of information in the field real estate law.

As a Title Abstractor, April researches titles, deeds, changes of ownership, and many other issues involving land real estate.  Her current position also involves training new employees, administrative duties, billing, recruiting clients, client retention, and expansion ideas. April will utilize these skills while serving as Register of Deeds.
